RG Consultancy are working with a fast growing wholesale and distribution company based in Macclesfield who are recruiting a Management Accountant due to company growth. This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring Management Accountant to join a great company at an exciting time for the business. You will work closely with and support the Finance Manager on a daily basis.

The Role
- To support the finance manager with the overseeing and management of the finance department
- Monthly preparation of management accounts
- Preparation of monthly packs for directors and business managers
- Balance sheet reconciliations including intercompany accounts
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Maintain fixed asset register
- Preparation and submission of VAT Returns
- Support the business and development of financial awareness to non-financial employees
The Person
- At least 2 years experience as an assistant/management accountant
- Qualified CIMA or ACCA is preferred but not essential, part qualified candidates will also be considered
- The right candidate will be commercially aware
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent attention to details and accuracy
