Salary: £35k-£40k + Commission

KPI Recruiting Ltd have partnered with an expanding Northwest based firm, for the recruitment of Business Development Manager. We need someone, highly organised, self-motivated, and sales driven professional, to lead this newly created business development team.

Our client has been established for over 30 years and continues to grow as one of the market leaders in their field, this is a really exciting opportunity, as you will be setting up a new part of the business. Working in close conjunction with one if the Directors, your role will be imperative for delivering sales results and expanding the companies brand.

  • Build a sales pipeline of potential clients with recruitment requirements
  • Quantifying sales leads, ensuring that leads are followed up in a timely manner
  • Identify decision makers and reach out to them through various methods such as calls, LinkedIn, email and door knocking
  • Lead from the front, assisting with new staff and consultants in opening doors with new opportunities
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to maximise profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Keep up with industry developments, competitor activities, and market trends to provide strategic insights
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and business opportunities
  • Work with the marketing team to implement the sales & marketing strategies, maximise opportunities for the business and drive sales
  • Lead client sales meetings, presentation of marketing material where appropriate
  • Meet and exceed targets, revenue quotas, and activity metrics on a regular basis
  • You will be 80% field based and 20% in the office, you will be expected to travel between clients and branches, attending meetings, door knocking prospect clients and being present at networking events

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Business development or sales experience.
  • Superb ability to build rapport quickly within both a telephone and face-to-face environment
  • Have a natural ability to persistently motivate yourself
  • A great team player!
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and time management
  • Commercially minded with high level attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Driving Licence required
  • Professional conduct
