Conveyancing Assistant / Paralegal – Sheffield

We are working with a highly respected Legal 500 firm in Sheffield, seeking a Conveyancing Assistant or Paralegal to join the busy Residential Conveyancing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a CQS accredited department that handles a diverse caseload, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers.
As a Conveyancing Assistant, you'll support the conveyancing team in all aspects of the conveyancing process, with a particular focus on file administration. You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth transactions, assisting with matters such as drafting documents, liaising with clients, and managing the administrative duties of the caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist fee earners with the progression of residential conveyancing transactions
- Manage and maintain conveyancing files, ensuring compliance with CQS protocols
- Provide administrative support, including liaising with clients, estate agents, and other third parties
- Draft standard documents and handle post-completion work
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a similar conveyancing role, with strong administrative skills and a keen attention to detail. You should be capable of handling multiple tasks and working effectively under pressure, ensuring files are maintained and processes are followed accurately. Excellent communication and organisational abilities are essential, as you will be working closely with clients, colleagues, and third parties to ensure transactions progress smoothly.
