Position:
Assistant Pool Manager
Interim position for immediate / September start with an opportunity for a permanent contract.
Hours:
14 hours per week (8am – 3.30pm), Term Time Only (39 weeks PA) plus 1 week during the holidays
Hourly Rate:
£16 - £18 inclusive of holiday pay, paid weekly!

My client, a leading institution dedicated to supporting pupils aged 2 to 19 years with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), is seeking a Assistant Hydrotherapy Pool Manager. This school is a vibrant, inclusive, and supportive community where each student is encouraged to achieve their full potential.
We are looking for a confident, safety-focused, and proactive individual to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is perfect for someone passionate about working with children and young people with special needs in a dynamic and caring environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the management of the hydrotherapy pool, ensuring all safety protocols are strictly adhered to.
- Assist in the daily operations and maintenance of the pool facilities.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide support to pupils during hydrotherapy sessions.
Essential Requirements:
- In-date RLSS Emergency Response Swimming Pool Qualification or Equivalent.
- Pool Plant Operator's Qualification or a willingness to obtain it.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
