We are seeking a Facilities Operative to join our dynamic team at a leading creative industries education provider. The role involves providing technical and operational support across our Guildford campus, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for students and staff. This full-time position requires flexibility to work on a rota basis, including some weekends for events.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Complete daily tasks as assigned by the supervisor, including setup for lectures and events.
- Communicate effectively with the team, submitting reports and updates to the head of facilities.
- Use scheduling tools to coordinate with technicians and ensure all preparations are carried out.
- Assist with the functionality, tidiness, and safety of workshop and storage areas.
- Conduct self-assessments to maintain high standards of service.
- Report building repairs and maintenance needs to the Facilities Supervisor.
- Participate in weekly team meetings to plan support for upcoming events and track productivity.

- Full and Clean Class B UK driving licence.
- First Aid, Fire Marshal, and Health & Safety training.
- Advanced studio and live sound knowledge.
