Are you an experienced Financial Controller, looking for the next step and challenge in your career? The firms has seen significant growth in the last couple of years, and looking to continue on this trajectory.
To support this growth, to steer system implementations, and to manage and lead the finance team, they are looking for a seasoned Financial Controller, who can step in as a leader. This role oversees the finance function as a whole and reports to the Board Director, making you most senior person in finance.
This opportunity would suit someone with previous experience in growing SME environment, and requires a well-rounded professional to take over.
The responsibilities of a Financial Controller will include but not be limited to:
- General ledger reviews
- Monthly management accounts
- Overseeing payroll
- VAT & corporate tax returns
- Overseeing company credit cards scheme and electric vehicle scheme
- Manage and lead the finance team
- Liaising with external stakeholders
- Provide support for company decision making
- Monthly and annual budgets
Requirements
- CA/CIMA/other accountancy qualification
- 5+ years of experience post-qualification
- Experience of managing and leading a team
- Able to liaise with senior management
- A self-starter, able to take ownership and initiative
- Proficient IT skills, including finance software
On offer
- Salary circa £65,000 - £75,000 (depending on experience)
