Apprenticeship Assessor - Health and Social Care (National)

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Clinical Care/Adult Care and training professionals to deliver clinical/adult care apprenticeships. You will support a diverse cohort/caseload of learners through their apprenticeship journey, providing outstanding teaching and learning experience.

Location: Remote with learner observations (National locations)

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 (OTE of up to £6,000 per annum in KPI related bonus)

With your energy and passion, you'll help shape the minds of the future for the industry's leading training provider in the clinical care sector. This role is about being able to inspire people to succeed thorough their apprenticeship with quality training being at the heart of what you do.

You'll help deliver an outstanding teaching and learning experience to every learner by:

  • Engaging, motivating, and encouraging learners to achieve their work-based qualifications through differentiated, impactful, and innovative teaching and learning
  • Deliver consistent levels of great service to all in line with our Learner Promise to retain learners and employers
  • Ensure learners are fully prepared with a completed portfolio in preparation for EPA Gateway
  • Recruit for learners and employed apprentice opportunities as appropriate to maintain minimum caseload levels and operation excellence targets
  • Harness the use of technology, learning resources, virtual college, and the facilitation of workplace on the job training
  • Adhere to GDPR regulations and all internal information and data security policies and procedures
  • Plan and deliver engaging teaching and learning activities via a variety of methods to suit individual needs and learning styles
  • Compete all documentation within agreed timescales and provide feedback when required
  • Conduct consistent, planned, progressive visits and reviews with both the learner and employer in line with ESFA and Learner Journey requirements
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of the children, young people, and individuals you encounter

Requirements

What we need from you:

  • Teaching qualification (AET, DET, Cert Ed, PGCE)
  • Assessor qualification (TAQA, CAVA, A1)
  • Experience of delivering clinical apprenticeships
  • Relevant occupational competency within clinical care
  • A strong track record of supporting learners through End Point Assessment
  • Ability to manage a caseload of learners with varying learning requirements
  • GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above or equivalent Functional Skills qualifications
