Our client is a rapidly growing £40m business based in Reading who seek to hire a Financial Accountant. The role will suit a progressive ACCA/ACA or CIMA part to newly qualified Accountant looking to work for a successful and ambitious business. The role will report to the Financial Controller and offer a good mix of Financial and Management Accounting responsibilities:
- Supporting in the preparation of monthly management board finance packs
- Assisting with the year end audit
- Preparation of Statutory Accounts and Financial Statements reporting pack
- Support the wider Finance team and business with any ad hoc duties
- Assist with the preparation of other internal and external reporting requirements including VAT and Corporation Tax
- Liaise and collaborate with the Transactional team to ensure that financial policies and procedures are understood and robustly managed
- Income statement analysis and reporting including variance analysis against budget
- Accrual and prepayment reconciliations and analysis
- Balance sheet reconciliations
A salary of £45,000-£60,000 is on offer DOE plus bonus and benefits.
