We are small housing association based in Croydon with big goals, employing just over 50 members of staff looking after 1600 homes. We have an exciting opportunity to join our Neighbourhood Services Team.

What you will achieve in the role – This is an exciting time to join ccha and an excellent opportunity. You will be part of a multi-disciplined Neighbourhood Services team and directly responsible for a defined multi-tenure patch, delivering a high level of customer service and effective Housing Management Service to our residents and external customers.

What you'll bring to ccha - You will need to be an excellent communicator, emotionally resilient and able to work well with others at a variety of levels. The ability to multi-task and co-ordinate your own workload in a busy demanding service along with good IT skills. You will need confidence to apply sound judgement and decision making skills to take ownership of your work areas, and have a flexible and adaptable approach to manage changing priorities as the business need determines.

We want people who will exceed our resident and customer's expectations, have great customer service and a strong customer focus to build effective relationships with our residents, creating a caring and positive environment.

A full training package will also be provided to new members of our team to help them develop the skills to become a great Neighbourhood Services Officer.

We operate hybrid working, days spent in our new offices, out on your patch and days working from home.

Key skills required:

  • Experience of working in housing or social care environment.
  • Understanding of implementing good housing management and estate management practices.
  • Ability to keep up to date with relevant housing management regulation and legislation.
  • Good IT knowledge and skills.
  • Great Customer Service and strong customer focus.

Essential requirements:

  • DBS check
  • Driving licence / own car
  • Experience of working in housing or social care environment
