Recruitment & HR Advisor

Salary - £34,473 to £40,556 per annum (plus benefits)
Hours - 37.5 hours per week, 8.30am to 5.00pm
Location Postcode - DN4 5NU

As a Recruitment & HR Advisor at FCC Environment, you will support the HR Team in all aspects of the Company's HR and Recruitment processes, whilst providing an operational people service to the business.

This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week. However, we will consider requests for job shares to suit your lifestyle (working full days).

What will you be doing?

- To support the HR Team in ensuring that the Company operates best practice in accordance with current legislation and its own policies and procedures.
- To support the HR Team with day to day queries and advice on employment issues arising nationally and escalating to the wider HR Team where appropriate.
- Lead the recruitment activity nationally, be on hand to advise managers and keep all recruitment documents up to date. Ensure consistency across the country.
- Be the final sign-off on all Recruitment Requisitions and once fully approved, allocate the vacancy a Job Reference Number and liaise with Recruiting Managers to understand their advertising and recruitment needs to ensure they meet their business needs.
- To regularly review the Company's recruitment policy to ensure this meets ongoing business needs.
- To place accurate external job adverts, whilst also ensuring that all jobs are advertised internally on Environet by way of collation and publication of the internal weekly Vacancy Bulletin.
- To support other members of the HR Team, as and when required, with operational managers in regard to all employee related matters, providing advice and guidance as required.
- To keep a weekly work log in relation to all activities undertaken and to discuss any major/unusual issues, prior to taking action.
- Attend, advise and assist at disciplinary (excl gross misconduct cases), grievance, appeal and/or other meetings where necessary. Take detailed notes of these meetings.
- To Lead on projects with the procurement/retender process for future recruitment solutions.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of all aspects of employment law.
- Work closely with the S/HRBPs to ensure consistency in our approach to dealing with arising issues.
- To assist with the upkeep and accuracy of the data contained within the HR System (SAP) and assist the HR Systems Manager as required.
- To assist and support any HR activity/project seen to add value to our service delivery.
- Any other duties that the company deem to be within the remit/capability of the post-holder.
