Accounts Assistant
Location: Droitwich

Hours: Monday to Friday 40h per week
Salary: Up to £26k per annum
Hawk 3 Talent Solutions, operating as an employment agency, are currently recruiting for a Accounts Assistant on a permanent contract based in Worcestershire.
Successful candidate will be performing daily accounting tasks that will support the finance team. Supporting the finance department, financial controller, and management team by completing routine clerical and accounting tasks. Maintaining weekly reports, and completing basic bookkeeping and accounting duties for the company.
Assisting in processing payments, invoices, and receivables, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
Reconciling bank statements and monitoring financial transactions to ensure accuracy and no discrepancies.
Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
Supporting payroll processing by gathering and inputting relevant data.
Performing various administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence related to financial matters.
Responding to enquiries from clients, vendors, and internal staff regarding financial transactions and records.
Updating journals and ledgers, filing financial records and important documentation, and identifying and resolving errors in financial records
Sending and paying invoices, chasing late payments, and reconciling company accounts
Assisting with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies
Tracking expenses and evaluating budgets
Posting financial data to accounts
About you:
Good communication skills
Be motivated and well organized
Good attention to detail
AAT Level 2 or equivalent qualification in finance or accounting
Previous experience in processing payroll
Good organisational and time management skills
Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and other finance systems.
