This recognisable organisation is currently seeking an FP&A Manager to join their high-performing tea on a permanent basis. his is a key leadership position where you'll be instrumental in providing critical financial insights to support both the day-to-day operations and long-term ambitions of the organisation. You will deliver high-quality financial reporting, support forecasting, and manage financial performance analysis for the organisation whilst leading a large team.

The key duties of this FP&A Manager

  • Lead and develop the team, setting strategic goals and fostering professional growth.
  • Collaborate across departments to prepare detailed 5-year financial plans.
  • Continue the development of PowerBI reporting to enhance decision-making across the University.
  • Hold critical oversight of the production of quarterly management accounts and delivery year-end financial forecasts.
  • Build and nurture relationships with staff from a variety of backgrounds, supporting financial literacy and decision-making.
  • Ensure timely, accurate delivery of statutory financial information in line with sector regulations.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A professional accountancy qualification.
  • Significant experience working in a senior management accounting or finance business partnering capacity in a complex organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of financial information systems and reporting tools.
  • Proven experience in leading and developing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
  • Ideally experience working in the higher education sector, but this is by no means essential.
