DevOps Engineer - Knutsford - hybrid Working
This team is currently on the lookout for a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in Knutsford, Cheshire. The DevOps Engineer will be crucial in managing and optimizing the development and production environments, ensuring their software solutions' seamless integration, delivery, and deployment. This role involves working closely with development, operations, and security teams. Along with this, this person must be confident in working with autonomy while also being a team player!
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software development, testing, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams.
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize system performance and resource utilization.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code.
- Manage and configure cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to support scalable and secure services.
- Ensure system security, compliance, and data protection standards are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system and network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Document procedures, configurations, and best practices for internal teams.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, PowerShell
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
- Solid understanding of cloud services and architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
