Job Role: Senior Maintenance Engineer Location: Runcorn Full Time | Permanent | Monday to Friday
Tapflo UK is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer who specialises in process pumps, repairs, maintenance and servicing.
Tapflo UK are looking for an experienced Engineer to be responsible for the assembly and repair of pumps and ensuring the workshop is run smoothly. This is a newly created position and an opportunity to join a growing company with big plans and make a role your own whilst having the support of the wider group.
In return, the salary on offer is a basic of up to £50,000 P/A, as well as various company benefits including 25 days' annual leave and bi-annual company social events!
This is a full time, permanent role working Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, and Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.
Main duties:
Engineering responsibilities:
- Primarily responsible for the assembly, servicing, and repair of pumps
- Ensuring downtime of machinery is minimal and ensure repairs and builds are completed on time
- Attending client sites to carryout repairs
- Producing technical reports on servicing and repairs
- Building trusted relationships with clients
Workshop responsibilities:
- Oversee the efficient running of the workshop
- Quality checking and testing equipment
- Ensuring that production is run smoothly and efficiently
- Ensure stock is checked and maintained at all times
- Ensure the workshop is kept clean and tidy at all times and goods are checked in and stored in a timely manner
- Be able to work on own initiative and under minimal supervision, able to make informed decisions and demonstrate leadership skills
- Always adhering to H&S requirements
Essential Qualifications, Key Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in pump engineering
- Demonstrable leadership skills and have a desire to progress with the company
- Be able to read, understand and work to technical drawings
- Knowledge of quality and production procedures
As a person you will need to have meticulous attention to detail, excellent problem solving skills, the ability to multitask and a flexible and positive attitude.
