The Role:
Join the strategic sourcing and procurement team as a Senior Manager, where you'll lead initiatives to enhance sourcing efficiency and supplier management. Focusing on driving procurement excellence, optimising costs, and supporting operational growth. You will play a critical role in developing strategic sourcing framework for indirect spend categories essential to business operations, ranging from marketing and HR to professional services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Sourcing Initiatives: Engage with strategic suppliers to source indirect spend, leveraging industry insights across various services such as marketing, HR, learning & development, and more.
- Contract Management: Draft, negotiate, and execute a variety of contractual agreements, including NDAs, MSAs, LOIs, and POs.
- Develop Sourcing Tools: Create and refine RFI/RFPs, sourcing templates, playbooks, and other resources to strengthen sourcing strategies and team development.
- Supplier Performance Management: Establish and maintain supplier scorecards and quarterly performance reports to optimise vendor relationships.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with leaders across the organisation to align procurement solutions with business needs.
- Present and Recommend: Compile and present business cases to executives for key sourcing initiatives and agreements.
What You Bring:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Procurement Expertise: Extensive experience in category strategy, strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and risk mitigation, with a focus on non-technology indirect procurement.
- Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage project schedules and requirements in a mid- to large-sized company.
- Contracting Knowledge: Proficient in contract principles and industry standards, with strong negotiation skills.
- Effective Communicator: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, adept at presenting complex information clearly to multiple audiences.
