We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer based in Scotland and the North Eastfor one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. Our client is a large, well-established print finishing company and they are looking for someone to work across Scotland and the North East down to Newcastle so you will ideally be based in the Edinburgh or Glasgow area.
Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer
- Maintain company equipment on client sites
- Carry out repair and planned maintenance activities
- Support with administrative requirements
- Forge good working relationships with all customers and members of the Service Department
Requirements for a successful Field Service Engineer
- At least 2 years' Mechanical engineering with experience of fault finding to mechanical component level.
- A qualification in mechanical and electrical engineering
- Print or print finishing background would be an advantage.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Paper handling skills would be an advantage
- A full, clean UK drivers license
