Supply Chain and Logistics Specialist

Your core tasks will include:

  • Ensure accurate order processing of all new orders, including, processing sales orders and order related documents within the ERP system
  • Ensure fulfilment and logistical distribution of all of FANUC products, including planning, review, communication and financial control from point of customer order to delivery to the external/internal customers• Arrange deliveries for local project requirements
  • Contact for communication with external customers and other internal departments at FANUC, ensuring regular updates on order statuses
  • Manage communication from department mailboxes and channels for external/internal customers
  • Provide Customs support with import and exports of FANUC product/related equipment
  • Forecasting and demand planning of FANUC products and options to meet customer demand
  • Ensure high quality of the delivered goods carried out, including measuring quality with dedicated KPI's
  • Align with FANUC strategies to support business growth targets and implement change within the organization
  • Support process development and continuous improvement activities within the team and wider business applying methodologies
  • Work closely with other departments to align Supply Chain operations with the overall business goals
  • Compliance with Supply Chain and Customs related regulations/policies
  • Any other related duties, as required by the Head of Supply Chain and Logistics, and such other duties as are within the scope of the job purpose, the title of the post and its grading.

Your profile:

  • University degree in Supply chain, Operations or Business or equivalent
  • 4+ years of work experience in the Supply Chain or Logistics or similar position• Good knowledge of Customs
  • Good knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous
  • Good knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office package (knowledge in JDE or SAP is advantageous)
  • Have the ability to manage your own workload in a high volume environment.
  • Experience in working with clients of various sizes
  • Customer-centric approach to work
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Problem solving / analytical skills
  • Determined to get the job done and flexibility to adapt to changing requirements
  • Good time management, planning and accuracy

You may be required to:

  • Support wider operational activities from time to time
  • Support or take a leading role in local or group based projects and implementations
  • Support other subsidiary lead projects• Occasionally travel to other FANUC sites
