Credit Manager Position - Up to £80k
We are pleased to be supporting a business based in North London in their search for a Credit Manager to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and managing the credit control function, ensuring efficient and effective debt recovery processes.
- Developing and implementing credit policies and procedures to improve cash flow and reduce aged debt.
- Monitoring and managing the debtor ledger, ensuring accurate allocation of cash and timely collections.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with both private customers and Local Authorities.
- Producing regular aged debt reports, with a focus on reducing debts over 60 days old.
- Setting up customers on Direct Debit and managing payment plans.
Requirements:
- Experience in credit control, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience working in a Care Group setting, handling both private and Local Authority debt.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to produce detailed aged debt reports and implement effective debt reduction strategies.
