Snr Sales Manager (Wholesale) - Fashion - London / Hybrid

Position Overview:
The Senior Sales Manager (Wholesale) will be responsible for overseeing the wholesale operations, covering retail and digital channels, as well as managing national accounts. This role involves leading a team, ensuring the efficient flow of goods, and maximizing business performance to meet financial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Management:
  • Appoint, assign tasks, and monitor the performance of staff. Acting as an escalation point for service recovery / departmental issues.

  • Provide training and development opportunities to ensure team growth and efficiency.

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Mentor and 'lead from the front' to provide a positive and friendly office culture.

  1. Operational Oversight:
  • Foster and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with customers, using dynamic presentation skills and strong business acumen
  • Experience and building relationships with premium Brands, including Selfridges, Harrods, Browns, JLP, Marks & Spencer, Very, ASOS, Next amongst others
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Partner with cross functional teams (many headquartered in US), including Marketing/PR, Merchandising, Operations, Planning, Finance and Accounting to ensure account needs and requests are being met
  • Forecast monthly and forward-looking shipping projections for major accounts
  • Analyse weekly commercial sales data, seasonal turn and margin, creating action plans based on results
  • Collaborate with sales counterparts to understand and drive best practices, brand standards and operational excellence among international accounts
  • Establish and maintain effective internal reporting tools and communication cadence
  • Regularly analyse consumer buying trends, competitors and product opportunities
  • Identify opportunities for growth in current and new categories and collaborate with internal stakeholders/decision makers to ensure long-term sustainability

Qualifications:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in business, retail management, or a related field.
  • Extensive Team management experience
