We are seeking a highly driven HR professional with strong experience in HR administration to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging, and diverse environment. As an HR Administrator, you will play a critical role in supporting the HR Manager and the broader management team on a wide range of HR activities, being the first point of contact for all employees across the site. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and timely running of weekly reports; absence, leavers, new starters to support the HR manager with the completion of KPIs.
  • Managing the HR inbox ensuring all HR queries are dealt with efficiently and escalated to HR Manager if required.
  • Assist with onboarding and induction process including right to work checks and contract issue.
  • Employee set up, ensuring that all information added to the HR systems is accurate and timely for efficient payroll run.
  • Processing any contractual amendments on the system that come through from management, accurately and timely for payroll run.
  • Raise Purchase orders on SAP and follow through the approval process as necessary.
  • Responsible for the absence management & reporting using SAP
  • Monthly Payroll administration - ensuring all employee data is compliant and uploaded for processing within the payroll deadlines ( including Time and Attendance, overtime, sickness, and Holiday records.
  • To be proactive in identifying areas for improvement to processes and services.
  • Responsible for managing employment contracts /Holidays/Maternity/pensions
  • Support on the management of casework in relation to sickness absence, including supporting and guiding managers, liaising with Occupational Health and scheduling meetings.
  • Participating in various disciplinary and grievance meetings, taking notes and typing up minutes of meetings, ensuring the information is accurate and to a professional standard for issue.
  • Recruitment & Selection - Lead and support the recruitment process, from job postings and candidate screening to interviewing and onboarding process.
  • Responsible for the onboarding and off-boarding process, ensuring new employees are embedded correctly within the business.
  • Learning and Development - supporting the HR Manager to work with managers to conduct a local detailed training and learning needs analysis for the short, medium and long term and evaluate its effectiveness.
  • Supporting the HR Manager to drive and develop the apprenticeship programme with the local Technical Trainer and HR Manager.
  • Has a solid knowledge of employment law and HR procedures to make sure the business is compliant, safe, and legal and has experience of being able to navigate and support on ER cases
  • Responsible for coordinating Occupational Health referrals, ensuring all the necessary paperwork is complete and follow-ups are scheduled into the diary if necessary.
  • Diary management - arranging a wide range of meetings on behalf of the HR Manager and senior management team in relation to HR matters.
  • To provide professional advice and support to management and all employees on employee relations. This will include the provision of advice in relation to investigations, supporting with the preparation of management statements of case and attendance at hearings as appropriate

KEY SKILLS

  • CIPD qualified Level 3 or above
  • Strong HR Administration background
  • Experienced in end-to-end recruitment process
  • Driven and ambitious with the desire to develop
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office and any HR related Software HRIS / Success Factors
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working on SAP ( not essential as training will be provided)
  • Good understand of HR processes and procedures
