The Company
We are currently working with a rapidly expanding construction firm, who are well-known for delivering top-quality projects across the UK. Due to winning a number of new projects they have created this a new role in the business and are currently seeking a Document Controller.
The Role
In this exciting newly developed role, you will manage and oversee the documentation process for multiple construction projects, ensuring that all project documents are accurately recorded, organised, and accessible. This role involves maintaining document control systems, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring compliance with company and industry standards. You will be responsible for the timely distribution and retrieval of documents, playing a key role in supporting the efficient and effective management of project information across various sites.
The Candidate
- Proven experience in document control, preferably within the construction industry
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in document control software and systems, with the ability to manage large volumes of information
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in document control
