If so then my award-winning client is offering the opportunity for a NEC Supervisors to work in the beautiful surroundings in North Yorkshire to work on a variety of interesting and challenging infrastructure (highways and public realm) public sector projects - Local Authority / Public sector site based with some office working.
Your role as an NEC Supervisor is to monitor the works, witness any testing, check compliance with the Works Information and ensure that all works are carried out in line with the quality defined in the contract and providing independent inspections and ensuring works are undertaken to the correct standards, identify potential issues, advise on prevention and manage defects that may arise.
You will have an understanding and awareness of NEC suite of contracts, particularly PSC and (ECC) and ideally have Infrastructure and Project Management experience (Highways, active travel, civil engineering and public realm), possess good technical writing skills and knowledge of reading drawings and tender documents, etc, MS Office and can prepare and agree instructions with contractors in accordance with contracts.
Ideally you will be Degree educated in a related construction discipline i.e. Building Surveyor, Architect, Quantity Surveyor, Civil Engineer, Project Management, NEC accredited or equivalent with working knowledge of applicable industry standard forms of contract, NEC (3 & 4)
