Plant and Weighbridge Operative
Salary - £35,083.20 per annum (plus benefits)
Hours - Full-time

As a Plant and Weighbridge Operative, you will assist in ensuring operations at the site are carried out safely and cost-effectively.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5.5 days per week including weekends; however, we will consider requests for job shares or flexible working to suit your lifestyle.

What will you be doing?
- Assisting the Site Manager in controlling and co-ordinating the safe and efficient operation of the site
- Maintaining awareness of, and compliance with, the Waste Management Licence, Working Plan, risk assessments, COSHH assessments, and emergency procedures
- Working in accordance with staff rosters and the provision of cover for staff absence
- Operating mobile plant safely and efficiently
- Ensuring that plant and equipment is maintained correctly
- Operating the weighbridge systems in accordance with the Duty of Care regulations and keeping accurate records
- Being courteous to customers at all times, providing assistance
- Providing a prompt and efficient service to haulage sub-contractors and assisting them
- Reporting to the Site Manager any breach of rules, acts of dishonesty, malpractice or corruption
