An
award winning manufacturing
business are looking for an
Electrical Engineer
to join their friendly, busy service department and be responsible for the
repair, servicing and testing of life-saving medical devices.
This will involve you
investigating issues with devices and repairing,
before t
esting and checking electrical safety
and returning them to clients, using tools and instruments. You will also carry out
scheduled maintenance on devices
and
provide technical support to customers
as well.
As an
Electrical Engineer
your new role will involve:
- Repair, service, and overhaul of medical equipment
- Electrical testing of repaired devices
- Providing technical support to new and prospective customers by phone and e-mail
- Completing warranty job sheets with fault details, resolution and repair details, and parts list
- Installing and commissioning new, loan and repaired systems
- Investigating customer issues raised as per Quality SLAs
- Raising quotes on the system for work to be carried out
For this opportunity within a growing business, I am interested in speaking with candidates who have experience working as an
**Electrical Engineer,
Service Technician, Repair Technician, Service Engineer, Electronics Technician, or Technical Engineer,
and who have used
tools and instruments in an electronical technical role capacity.
The ability to repair electronics to
PCB level
is definitely of interest.
Salary for this role is £30,000 to £35,000 p.a. (depending on level of experience).
