Talent Acquisition / Recruitment Specialist

We are looking for a methodical and organised Talent Acquisition / Recruitment Specialist to join our team on an initial 6-month interim basis. The role involves working closely with line managers and managing the end to end recruitment process, from shortlisting candidates to arranging interviews, and providing general support as needed.
Experience in sourcing, searching, and headhunting candidates is essential, as well as screening and sifting applications.
The role will be supporting initially more with Digital, Data and Technology roles so an understanding of the IT world is preferable, but it is not essential.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage the recruitment process, including checking shortlisting criteria and arranging interviews.
- Handle general recruitment queries and provide assistance where needed.
- Conduct sourcing and headhunting activities to find appropriate candidates based on given briefs.
- Screen and sift through applications to identify suitable candidates.
- Work primarily with our Digital, Data, and Technology directorate, contributing to the recruitment of IT professionals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a Talent Acquisition or recruitment role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage recruitment processes in an organised and methodical manner.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience in sourcing, searching, and headhunting candidates.
- Capable of screening and sifting applications effectively.
- Understanding of the IT sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
