Liverpool Council is looking for a social worker for their MASH team. They will consider social worker with extensive Duty & Assessment experience looking to get into MASH. Hourly rate is £42p/h and this is a fully office based role
Key responsibilities:
- taking details from members of the public and professionals via telephone gathering accurate information from databases.
- ensuring the child is the focus when contacting professionals, parents and carers.
- identifying and responding to any safeguarding concerns.
- ensuring that the immediate decision making reflects an analysis of risk and protective factors.
- you will have the ability to work under pressure within a fast paced environment.
- maintaining professional relationships with others from different teams and local authorities.
- dealing with referrals appropriately from the public and other external organisations
- collecting and collating relevant information to add to the information received on the multi-agency referral form.
Requirements for the role:
- Be SWE registered
- Hold a recognised social work qualification and have at least 2-year post qualifying experience.
