Page Personnel are working with a highly successful, very well known, multi-national business. Due to the expansion of the business they are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join the team.
Description
Assistant Accountant responsibilities include:
- Extract data from Payment Providers and Banks to facilitate the reconciliation process.
- Import transactions, ensuring controls and processes have been followed.
- Producing accurate and timely reconciliations of financial data ensuring all variances are investigated.
- Administer the reconciliation mailbox ensuring all queries are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Provide support and cover for other members of the Client Reconciliation Team.
- Gain in depth knowledge and understanding of company terminology and processes.
- Contribute to projects, helping to deliver continuous improvement in the delivery of financial information.
- Ad hoc tasks as and when required.
Profile
The candidate will have:
- Experience working within a Finance function - Required
- Currently studying towards AAT qualification - Required
- Previously worked within a fast-paced environment - Required
- Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines - Required
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - Required
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel - Required
