Your new role
Working within a small team of this well established manufacturing business, this part-time finance role will predominantly focused on Purchase Ledger functions. This will account for around 70-80 % of your time. Duties to include :
- Taking ownership of the Purchase Ledger, ensuring accurate and timely accounting, using a system of checks and reconciliations.
- Process supplier invoices and credit notes to the accounting system.
- Making supplier payments according to terms and conditions and company policy.
- Ensuring supplier discounts are well managed
- Responding to supplier queries.
- Maintaining a tidy ledger.
- Working as a team player within the accounts department, adherence to deadlines and supporting the month-end process.
- Reconciliation of supplier statements.
- Daily cash flow update & posting to SAGE
- Preparing financial analysis reports
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Working on monthly payroll
- Supporting with annual audit
- General administrative duties supporting the Management Accountant
What you'll need to succeed
- Ideally Fully AAT qualified / qualified by experience
- Prior experience in other aspects of the finance function
What you'll get in return
Part-time hours (around 30 hours per week)
Salary of £28k Full time equivalent
