Nursery Room Leader - The Role

We are seeking an experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team!

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of supervisory experience in a nursery setting. This role requires a proactive, compassionate, and highly organized individual who can lead by example and ensure our nursery continues to thrive as a safe, engaging, and joyful place for children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe, clean, and nurturing environment.
  • Lead and support a team of nursery practitioners, promoting best practices in childcare and early education.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate programs and activities that foster children's growth and development.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and nursery policies.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to enhance team performance and professional development.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the educational programs, making improvements as needed.
  • Manage administrative tasks including scheduling, record-keeping, and reporting.

Nursery Room Leader - What we need from you

Experience & Qualifications;

  • Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a nursery setting.
  • A relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and child protection policies.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and helping them achieve their full potential.
