We are looking for HOLMES Investigators to assist Derbyshire Constabulary.
Rate of pay: £142.50 per day
Hours: Office hours (full-time & part-time available)
Location: HYBRID working. On site: Ascot Drive Police Station, Dunstall Park Rd, Allenton, Derby DE24 8UJ
Contract: Temporary ongoing
Duties:
- Maintain case progression timelines - prevent backlog of cases and ensure investigations continue at pace
- Secure time critical evidence - rapidly deploy an enquiry team to prevent the loss of vital evidence, in particular CCTV
- Manage the increased demand without compromising the quality and integrity of investigations.
- To ensure continued delivery of investigations and successful CJ outcomes
- Stabilisation of investigations, workloads and case progression.
- Reduce missed opportunities, evidential errors or investigative delays.
