About the role
We are looking for an experienced Senior SaaS Engineer, specialising in HCM to join our expanding team. The Finance, People, Legal & Co-Sec Engineering Team sits within Digital Business Optimisation and acts as a Tech Partner to the business to support them in the delivery of their business strategies. As Senior SaaS Engineer you'll be supporting our ambitious People Strategy by optimising and exploiting our technology in areas such as Talent & Performance, Skills Cloud and Core HR. You'll be delivering large scale changes to introduce efficiency and automation within our service, allowing us to thrive at scale by championing a culture of continuous service improvement.
What you'll be doing
- Leading the delivery of small to large scale system changes within FPLC, working in line with stakeholders to ensure delivery is in line with business strategy.
- Supporting SaaS Engineers by acting as escalation and supporting their learning and development.
- Ensure highest level of confidentiality is maintained in the treatment of HL colleagues' personal data.
- Ensuring the business risks and impacts associated with changes are fully understood and mitigated appropriately ensuring system stability.
- Responsible for ensuring all documentation related to the changes delivered is created/maintained and in accordance with the best practices.
- Supporting the People function and wider business to get the best out of the Workday Product, including assessing data needs and devising reporting and dashboards.
About you
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of HCM SaaS solutions with configuration and delivery experience.
- Strives to always deliver an excellent customer service experience.
- Excellent verbal, written communication, sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using IT service Management tools, such as ServiceNow and Jira.
- Flexible and adaptable when dealing with changing requirements and priorities.
- Highly organised, methodical with a keen attention to detail.
- Extensive experience of HR, reporting, and business processes knowledge.
- Proven ability to identify weaknesses in data and processes.
- Highly experienced in providing technical Support services within HR.
Interview process
This will be a two-stage interview process, consisting of competency based questions and an assessment task.
Working Schedule
We are based in Bristol, BS1 5HL. This role is permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We have returned to the office, however for this role we offer a flexible working pattern to enable you the option of working from home and coming into the office.
