Challenge-trg Recruitment has an exciting opportunity to work on behalf of a well-established company in Haydock, WA3 3JD. We are looking for a confident Test, Clean and Pack Operative. Your pay rate as a Test, Clean and Pack Operative will be £11.80 per hour
Working hours as a Test Clean and Pack: Monday to Friday 06:30am until 15:30pm
Responsibilities as a Test, Clean and Pack Operative:
- You will be reporting to the Team Leader
- Be responsible for the test, cleaning and packing and ensuring they meet the customers criteria.
- Be capable of testing any product covered by a local work instruction.
- Clean all items in a timely manner ensuring all accessories and instructions are present to work instructions and grading criteria.
- Carry out a final inspection of each product to ensure that it meets customer requirements.
- Ensure that all relevant labels are attached to each unit and box and palletised correctly and safely.
- Achieve the set targets in all areas of work e.g. turnaround, productivity KPI's and customer expectations.
- Maintain the accessories' location in a clean and structured manner to assist all clean and packers.
- Any SMS/BMS updates must be read, and any issues raised to your Team Leader or the IT/Quality Manager
- Be familiar with and work to all ServiceTech's operational procedures as per ISO 9001
- Be aware of and work to all health and safety procedures and highlight any issues.
- Any other reasonable tasks as requested by a Team Leader or Manager
Skills & Experience Required as a Test, Clean and Pack Operative:
- The role does include the user of a PC and internal systems, so some computer literacy is required
- Ability to read, speak and understand English to a good standard
- Ability to work to targets
