Supply Chain Specialist | Industrial Consultancy | Stone, Staffordshire | Negotiable Salary | Hybrid (3 days per week on-site)
MERITUS are working with an expanding Industrial Consultancy looking to bolster their Procurement team due to an influx of new projects.
They;re looking for an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join at their head office in Stone. This pivotal role will involve managing vendor relationships, obtaining competitive quotations, and supporting the Procurement Manager in enhancing supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Quotations Inbox to ensure timely and organised responses to requests for quotations.
- Identify, record, and secure discounts on quotations, while maintaining a discount and deal register.
- Collaborate closely with the Procurement Manager on supplier Terms and Conditions and vendor management.
- Assist in client and internal audits, supporting compliance and best practices in procurement.
Required Skills
- Excellent negotiation skills with a professional and personable approach.
- Strong understanding of business Terms and Conditions, particularly in product supply.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams, with solid vendor management abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
