Our client prides themselves on their personal touch and high levels of service. As a Domestic Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing and breakdown work in and around the Reading area. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out repairs and maintenance on gas installations and appliances.
- Performing routine service of gas appliances in accordance with current Gas Regulations and Health & Safety regulations.
- Conducting routine inspections of other domestic installations as per the Associations Gas procedure.
- Estimating, requisitioning, and recommending necessary materials and spares for satisfactory breakdown repairs and installations.
- Managing vehicle material stock by ensuring correct booking and frequent replenishment of items used.
- Installing and maintaining gas equipment for customers.
- Handling boiler installations and conversions.
- Responding to gas leaks.
- Installing central heating, hot water systems, and other heating appliances, including fault diagnosis and rectification, in accordance with current Gas Safety regulations.
We are looking for candidates who possess the following essential skills:
- ACS accreditation (CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, CKR1)
- Gas Safe registered
- Full UK driving license
