The Role:
As a Senior Nursery Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care and education to young children. You will work closely with the nursery team to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive. This position initially starts with Academics, transitioning to a permanent role with the nursery, offering a fantastic opportunity for long-term career progression.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional care and education to children in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Support and mentor junior staff members, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Develop and implement engaging activities that promote children's development and well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about their child's progress.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Senior Nursery Nurse or in a similar role.
- A relevant childcare qualification (e.g., Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education).
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for working with young children and a commitment to their development.
