Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a business in Leeds who are recruiting an Accounts Assistant/Purchase Ledger to join their team. This is a part-time position in an office-based role. You will be responsible for the posting of sales and purchase invoices, bank statements, credit card statements and purchase ledger.
Location: Leeds
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 pro rata
Job Type: Part-time, Permanent
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process the whole Purchase Ledger
- Control the PO system
- Post the banking
- Upload and reconcile weekly sales invoices
- Monthly reconciliation of debtors and creditors
- Process at least one weekly payment run
- Process one monthly payment run
- Assist with month end tasks
- Support the year end where necessary
- Upload monthly invoices
You will need to demonstrate:
- Sage experience (desirable)
- Minimum Level 3 AAT or studying AAT (desirable)
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise work
