Aspire People are in partnership with multiple secondary schools in Blackburn and surrounding areas who are seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our team. The roles will be full-time role Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, on a long-term basis starting ASAP or from September!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing the classroom for lessons.
- Provide support to students needing extra help with tasks.
- Aid teachers in managing classroom behaviour.
- Supervise group activities.
- Understand and support children with special educational needs (SEN).
What We're Looking For:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Experience with SEN is beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to work effectively alongside KS3 and KS4 class teachers.
Requirements:
- Two years of references.
- Enhanced DBS check (must be on the update service).
