Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + Training + Progression + Pension + Company benefits + 35 hours per week (Manage own diary)

Are you a Facilities Manager or similar ready to take on a pivotal role at a specialist educational institution where you will be the go-to leader for all building and FM matters and have autonomy to manage your own diary?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading education setting, where you will be the go-to personal for all building works and contracts management within an education setting known for their close-knit and friendly environment. You will be overseeing a small team and have full autonomy to ensure the estate is being run and managed.

Role Overview:

  • Strategic Leadership: Oversee comprehensive facilities operations, ensuring environments are safe, secure, and optimally maintained.
  • Compliance and Safety Management: Act as the primary lead for all health and safety matters, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and overseeing facility-related policies and procedures.
  • Project and Team Management: Direct a team responsible for the day-to-day operations of estate services, fostering professional development and ensuring high standards of maintenance and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the maintenance and estate services across multiple sites, ensuring all activities comply with safety standards and promote operational efficiency.
  • Develop and manage strategic plans for facilities expansion, maintenance, and compliance.
  • Coordinate with external contractors, ensuring services meet the institution's stringent standards.

  • Proven background in Facilities Management
