Our client is a growing SME business that is looking for a Senior Accounts Assistant to join their finance team and help support the needs of the business. This is a full-time permanent position and would suit an experienced Accounts Assistant or Bookkeeper who is AAT qualified or someone who is qualified by experience.

Senior Accounts Assistant - About The Role
Working in this growing SME you will report into the Finance Manager, assisting with the accurate processing of financial entries and month-end duties.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with monthly management accounts
- Posting of journals and reconciliations
- Cash flow forecasting
- Assist with purchase ledger and expenses queries
- End of month control
- Quarterly VAT
- Intercompany payments and reconciliation
The successful Senior Accounts Assistant will have/be:
- AAT qualified (or QBE)
- Double entry experience
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
