A £7m turnover, independent manufacturer is looking to embark on its next stages of transition and growth by appointing an exceptionally high calibre Managing Director on a 12-18-month contract.
You will have a well-rounded commercial background and will be tasked with setting a clear strategy for the next stages of the business, taking ownership of key initiatives to achieve targeted outcomes. The role will involve co-ordinating key plans and activities across all functional areas and ultimately provide the succession to enable the owners to step away from the business.
In return, you will receive a salary of £650-£750 per day.
As Interim Managing Director, your role is very diverse, and, amongst other duties, you will:
- Develop high quality business strategies and growth plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives. Co-ordinating successful completion through the team and wider business.
- Lead and motivate the Senior Management Team to advance employee engagement and develop a high performing managerial team
- Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission
- Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements
- Company cultural development
We're looking for an Interim Managing Director with:
- Proven experience of driving sustainable SME business growth in the manufacturing sector

This is a key role in the transition of the business and will require the successful individual to operate from the company's premises for at least 4 days per week.
