Description
- Routine monthly, half-yearly and annual accounts reporting;
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations for Finance Manager;
- Producing and delivering accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports to agreed timescales;
- Producing accurate Manufacturing KPIs for Factory colleagues
- Provide support and cover to Management Accountant
- Maintain fixed asset register, run monthly depreciation and provide capex updates for cash flow purposes
- Monthly recharges to other group companies and reconciliation of the recharge account;
- Ad-hoc assistant in other areas of the finance department
- Assist Finance Manager to drive improvements amongst the department
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis
- Good knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, look-ups)
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in using accounting software and financial management systems
