Plant Supervisor
Vanta Staffing Reading are recruiting for a Plant Supervisor to work for our prestigious client based in the Newbury area. The client is seeking an experienced Processing Plant Supervisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your career and join a well- established and successful team.
Requirements of a Plant Supervisor:
- You must be well organised and be an effective communicator at all levels.
- Forklift licence is required.
- You must be a physically fit, responsible individual with good experience supervising a Yard.
Details:
- Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
- Working hours: Monday to Friday (07.00 - 17.00)
- Location: Newbury
- Duration: Permanent
Role of a Plant Supervisor:
- To ensure that the lines run in a manner that is both safe, yet efficient.
- To manage the staff under your supervision, to ensure that all work is carried out to high standards.
- To ensure you have the correct staffing levels and inform the Yard Manager should you have any issues.
- Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance checks.
