Days - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 5am-5pm (after 6 weeks rotates to Thursday, Friday, Saturday for a further 6 weeks)

We have been serving our customers out of our Selby site since 1914. We produce more than 160 million units per year across 600 different product lines for customers such as Morrisons, Tesco & Asda.
Pay rates (Over time is after 36 hours a week x1.25)
Day shift - £11.56 an hour (Rises to £14.06 once hit required skill level)
What you'll be doing
- Ensure the efficient running of the Beetroot Plant and equipment along side the Beetroot Preparation Team Leader
- To troubleshoot and resolve minor issues (mechanical and procedural)
- To liaise with Team/Area Process Leaders, Line Coordinator, Engineers and Shift Managers
- Assist Team Leader in ensuring all Quality control checks are completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Effective communication with colleagues
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practice Housekeeping standards and Safe Operating Procedures
- Maintain best possible efficiency on line machinery
- Adhering to Food quality, health and safety, safe operating procedures, site operating procedures and policies.
- Responsibility for all aspects of Health and Safety in the work area
- Transport Beetroot bulkers from the Compound to Beetroot receiving area using Shunter vehicle
What we're looking for
- Experience working with machinery in a manufacturing environment is essential
- Comply with all relevant business and site policies such as Health and Safety and Food Safety standards
- Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and teamwork with the ability to work under pressure
- Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment producing quality and safe products
- Good attention to details
- Have strong and effective communication skills both verbal and written
- Be open to working in a production environment with varying temperatures
- Have a positive attitude and work ethic
