We are recruiting for a specialist engineering company in the area who are looking to appoint to their dynamic Procurement & Purchasing Team. This organisation has had significant investment in the past 12 months and is now seeking a forward-thinking, proactive buyer to help build their team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in procurement as the Director is keen to provide training and qualifications as part of the role to help fund CIPS for those wanting to complete it.
Working under a manager with extensive product knowledge, some of the key duties will include;
- Transactional procurement work - managing invoices/queries and resolutions
- Purchasing goods, materials, and services
- Working closely with suppliers, internal departments, and stakeholders to achieve procurement outcomes
- Inventory Management, stock management and planning
The salary for this role is £30-£35k.
