KCR are delighted to be recruiting a Management Accountant for an excellent manufacturing client in Gateshead. Reporting to the FC you will be a key part of the finance team, ensuring that month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting is delivered on time. Ideally you will have previous manufacturing experience and either CIMA/ACCA qualified or nearing qualification.
Main duties will include:
- Produce monthly management accounts
- Analysis overhead costs for the division
- Assist with standard costing and works order processes
- Ensure internal controls are in place and maintained
- Produce month end journals and reconciliations
- Provide information to support financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
- Ensure forecasts and budgets are delivered on time
- Assist with collection of information for statutory and taxation reporting
- Provide support and advice to department heads and other locations within the division
- Ensure accounting practices are carried out in accordance with US GAAP
- Assist with special projects as required
