Our client is a leading engineering company that offers tailored turnkey solutions for all aspects of materials processing equipment. They are currently seeking a skilled Plant Service Manager to join their team in the Holyport, Maidenhead area.
About The Job:
As the Plant Service Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of Plant Fitter Mechanics and oversee all aspects of the Maintenance Team operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing and optimising the Maintenance Team's working practises.
Recruiting and onboarding additional Plant Fitter & Mechanic staff as needed.
Updating internal reports and documents related to fault finding, risk management, maintenance records, and more.
Managing the team's workload and scheduling maintenance tasks across operational sites.
Ensuring the efficient operation of plant machinery and vehicles through inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Coordinating preventative maintenance activities.
Managing breakdowns, unplanned problems, and repairs.
Checking the functionality of safety systems.
Fitting new parts and ensuring equipment is working correctly.
Candidate Attributes and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience:
Previous heavy plant, mechanical, and electrical experience.
Experience in repairing plant machinery
Experience in repairing industrial machinery such as conveyor belts, industrial shredders, and granulators.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems is a plus.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Fluent in English.
Physically fit.
Valid UK driving licence.
