Salary: £28,677 - £35,844 per annum D.E.O + Excellent Benefits

HCR is recruiting a Senior Care Assistant for a non-profit launching their newly converted nursing home. Join us on this exciting journey as we transition to enhanced care. We need an experienced Senior Care Assistant with a background in elderly residential care. The Senior Care Assistant will lead and mentor the daycare team, ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care.
Senior Care Assistant Duties:
- Prioritise resident welfare
- Administer medication safely
- Update care plans for the "Resident of the Day"
- Guide the team on correct care plan updates
- Conduct supervision monthly
- Support the Head of Care by upholding home policies
- Step in during management absences

Senior Care Assistant Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent
- Competent in medication management
- IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Naturally empathetic and kind
