Sanderson have been asked by our client to help them recruit two permanent QA Engineers, on an exclusive basis, during what is an exciting time of growth within the company.
Based in Glasgow our clients have a hybrid working model with the expectation that the chosen candidates will have to be on site one day a week.
Ideally the selected candidates will have a background in both manual and automated testing as our client takes the journey to automate their testing activities so they will need to be "hands on" and love to automate so they can be re-run, re-used and re-built.
The ideal candidates will need to have a mix of the following skills and experience;
- Creating structured and detailed test plans and test cases
- Executing manual test scripts or partially automated test scripts
- Designing, developing and executing automated test scripts
- The creation and management of test data for both manual & automated testing scenarios
- Ideally some knowledge in writing test automation scripts against a web-based application
- One of the positions will offer more seniority so in the medium to long-term taking on both leadership and mentoring responsibilities as the team grows.
- The ability to work across all areas of the business.
- Excellent communication, team and a strong collaborative approach
