In line with the Company's current Agile Working Policy, the successful candidate would be eligible to work part of the week from our Crawley office and to work remotely for the rest of the week. The requirement to be in the office may increase in the run up to show dates, and there will also be a requirement to travel to be onsite during the event.

Position

Are you seeking a placement year to complement your studies, offering the opportunity to gain real-world experience in planning and executing large-scale events?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Show Administrator to join our award-winning Exhibitions team from September 2024 to June 2025. The Show Administrator provides support to all departments within Exhibitions - Sales, Operations, Marketing & Features and works closely with the Accounts Department to maintain correct sales ledgers/operations logs for accounting purposes.

What you'll be doing:

  • Processing and amending contracts
  • Database management
  • Keep sales plan up to date on Illustrator - dealing with Sales Team's on-going requirements
  • Customer service calls
  • Updating exhibitor lists on websites
  • Dealing with general enquiries and sending out general correspondence
  • Chasing forms from exhibitors manuals
  • Collating Food Sampling Forms
  • Contract and Floorplan auditing
  • Provide general administrative support for the shows
  • Keeping sales ledgers/operations logs up to date
  • Regular monetary auditing
  • Sending out Adobe emails on behalf of the Sales Team
  • Management of the sales office on site
  • Design work - passes, Exhibitor Party invitations, Exhibitor Information Leaflets

What you'll need:

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills & accurate record keeping
  • Strong administration skills with an eye for detail
  • Ability to hit deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Enthusiastic , self motivated, pro active and outgoing
  • Ability to use own initiative/ common sense / multi task and be able to work as a part of a team
  • Comfortable in situations with a requirement to think critically, question and determine when to seek guidance or escalate a potential problem.
