Engineering Coordinator

We have an exciting position available to join our client's Service & Reactive team.

Working hours Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm. We are ideally looking for an experienced service team coordinator to join our established team, preferably with experience within the fire and security industry. Salary will be based on experience and suitability to the role.

Job Description - Area Engineering Co-Ordinator

Tasks as listed below will form part of your day-to-day expectations. This is not an exhaustive list and other tasks may be reasonably expected of you by your line manager;

  • Scheduling of Engineers/subcontractors diaries with service visits, reactive call outs and minor works/projects including updating our CRM operating system with visit dates, booking visits with customers including sending confirmation to clients. Liaising with engineers to ensure works are completed within a specified timeframe and in a cost-efficient manner.
  • Ensuring resources are purchased and available for engineers/subcontractors to use to complete their assigned jobs
  • Dealing with clients to gain uplifts for onsite repairs.
  • Inputting and proof-reading data from engineers reports and entering onto our cloud-based CRM.
  • Dealing with urgent call outs and assigning engineers to call outs, overseeing repairs until completion.
  • Liaison with suppliers and subcontractors including raising orders, ensure the company receives the needed level of service to deliver our services.
  • Dealing with customers queries in a timely manner to always ensure highest levels of customer service are achieved.
  • Dealing with emails from clients and other staff members and other general updating of our operating systems.
  • Updating client portals
  • Sourcing and onboarding subcontractors including data checking and compliance verification.
  • Cost management of jobs to ensure optimal profit levels are being achieved for the company.
  • Generation of weekly, fortnightly and monthly reports for management purposes.
  • Understanding and working to role specific KPIs (Key performance Indicators), to include dealing with incoming calls into the business.

You will be working alongside other experienced team members who are completing this role and on the job training will be provided for as long as required.
